Advertise on eyetext:
Reach an audience of eyecare professionals directly: eyetext.net has a
unique member group and therefore allows highly targeted advertising. Today there

7939 active members, in
146 countries.
Junior ophthalmologists are the heaviest users, reflecting the important educational value of the site. 90% of our members are ophthalmolgists.
There is a sophisticated advertising management system which gives the advertiser
or their agency full control over their images, links, 'alt tags', and the order
and frequency with which each image is displayed. In December 2002 eyetext.net
advertisements were displayed over 30,000 times per month and the click-through
ratio was between 0.5% and 3.5%, depending on the type of advertisement
Sponsorship
1. Exclusive Sponsorship:
Sponsorship of a section of eyetext gives you the opportunity
to occupy the entire section with your brand and be associated with that section
by name - for example "Welcome to the [Company Name] [Section Name]".
All banner advertisements on that section of the site are yours
and even the title of the section can include your company name
(or a product name). Your company will also be listed in the sponsors
page and the acknowlegments page. If there is an associated download or email then your
branding can also be applied to these.
2. Non-Exclusive Sponsorship:
As with exclusive sponsorship, major association of sponsors branding
with the section and name, but other small banner ads from non-competitive
brands may also appear on the pages of that section
Advertising
1. Large Banners
Large banner advertisements (468 x 60 pixels) may appear at the
top or bottom of any page which is not exclusively sponsored.
In contrast to other websites and print media, eyetext advertisements
appear consistently on all pages in that section - so a banner
placed in the Glaucoma section of Monographs appears on every
page of every glaucoma monograph.
2. Small Banners
Small banners (120 x 60 pixels) appear in the right column of
most pages in eyetext. They can also be on any page with allocated
space which is not in an exclusively sponsored section, and are
also consistent across each section.
